The Hare Arms is more than just a simple country pub and eating place.
The Hare Arms is popular for many reasons, for the excellence of its beer and its food and wine and for the warm welcome that awaits you.
Situated between King's Lynn and Downham Market in the village of Stow Bardolph; The Hare Arms is an ideal place for a social gathering, a hearty meal, a business meeting or just a quiet drink.
• The Bar:
Packed with interesting memorabilia gathered over the years, the large L-shaped bar is an ideal meeting place for young and old.
Friendly bar staff serve fine ales, spirits and wines and the extensive bar food menu caters for all tastes. Whether you fancy a quick drink or a hearty meal we have something for everyone.
The Bar offers a large bar food menu with the usual pub food always available.
• The Restaurant:
The restaurant is open from 7pm until 11pm Monday to Saturday (last sitting 9pm).
The Hare Arms silver service restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday evenings with a wide ranging A la Carte menu, and from Monday to Thursday evenings we offer a special 'mid-week' restaurant menu with a set price for 2 or 3 courses.
There is a good selection of vegetarian meals, a wide range of desserts and a wine list to tempt any palate.
The restaurant seats up to 60 people and is very popular, so it is advisable to book especially for weekends or special occasions.

Butterflied Chicken Breast coated with a creamy leek and mustard sauce
Local Pork Steak topped with melting Stilton
Puff Pastry Wellington filled with filled with Camembert, roasted red onion and cranberry sauce
Smoked Haddock and Crayfish Tail bake with fresh tomatoes in a cream and cheesy Parmesan sauce, served "au gratin"
