Your hosts, John Craft and Nicki Howard, invite you to visit this quiet, rural freehouse pub, situated just off the A143, Diss to Great Yarmouth road, Norfolk. With stone flag floors, scrubbed floorboards and inglenook fireplace, we offer you NO TV, NO musak and NO Machines.
Instead we offer a range of 8 real ales, freshly prepared food - lunchtimes and evenings, and a chance to catch up with the days news and enjoy some good old fashioned bar room banter!
Meals at the Artichoke:
Our chef, Martin and his staff, have a well earned reputation for simple, homemade freshly cooked meals using local ingredients where possible. Our pub meals are available both lunchtimes and evenings and we are sure you won't be disappointed!
Sunday lunch is also available and includes two roasts (beef and either pork or chicken), a vegetarian nut roast and a selection of main meals. Snacks are also available in the bar. Booking for main meals is advisable.
